- From the lands of ice and snow
Walking soft through mighty timbered halls
Calling in song to the Goddess moon
The She Wolf passes by in gentle spirit
Flashing teeth and whispering fur in the harsh daylight
Feeding upon the unwary fools of dawn
And yet in her majesty she is mistress of the lands
A soul cast to the land from the heavens
Fierce and brave
Tilt you your head to the moon and sing
Sing for me your song of winter days
Call the shadows to enfold me in this dark night
Eyes starbright with thoughts unseen
Oh touch me with your thoughts let me see
Can I but whisper to you in this the dark of days
Would you listen to my song ?
Would you sing with me
Dance with the spirit of the Dragons from afar.
Golden eyes of the night watch over me
Silent overlords of conscience
I beg to the indifference of the wolf's jaws
Silent walker in the snow walking many a mile
Tarry awhile, show me that feral smile
Run with the wind my pretty one
Run fast, run free, whisper your secrets to me
Dark silences between the silent thoughts of pain
Feed me the shadows crossing your heart
Let not you awaken with a sudden start
Realizing that the dream is a reality of a nightmare
Dream on little Wolf of dreams
Walk the forests of the Goddess
Guard your spirit well for tis the season of the hunter
But in the silence of whispers beware the hunter
For the Wolf feeds upon him
His flesh meat for the rising dawn of wolf light
Rise, oh rise Wolf of the lost days
Bite softly upon the whirlwind of chance
Dance in the pale Wolf's moonlight
Call to the shadows you smile from
Roll in the snows of winter
For sweet wolf of shadows the spring is near
In the whisper of the wind you are heard
Sing for me once more
Give me the magic of your voice
Let me learn to sing in magic tones
Listen close to the Earth's bared bones
Feel you close to the shadows in my soul
Watch you with Dragon's eyes as you become whole
Smile at you singing in the spring with your wolf's soul
No longer trapped in a desolate land of silence.
